Uju Lwami Creations does not accept returns or exchanges at this time. Due to hygienic concerns and quality controls, we would not re-sell returned pieces.  Many of the items are either made-to-order or one-of-a-kind pieces and given the very small nature of this business, processing returns and exchanges are just not feasible.  However, please feel free to contact me with any questions, issues or concerns at hello@ujulwamicreations.com, so that we can sort it out.  I want you all to be happy. 

Uju Lwami Creations is not responsible for packages once they have been delivered to the shipping carrier.  Please also note that we do not provide refunds for items delayed during the shipping process, nor for lost or stolen items.  We offer the option to add-on insurance at checkout and strongly encourage you to do so. 

Your gems are packaged with care to protect them and ensure, as much as is in our control, their safe arrival.  You should inspect your order and contact us within the first 48 hours of receipt of your package if you receive a damaged or defective item so that we can evaluate the circumstances and work with you to find a resolution.

All pieces are made from polymer clay.  Polymer clay is a moldable medium that you can mix, sculpt and form into versatile shapes, objects, and beautiful earrings!!  Polymer clay must then be baked in an oven in order for it to cure. Once cured, it will hold it's shape, while retaining some flexibility.  Polymer clay is also very light and durable once cured.

I source lead and nickel free earring hardware to use in my creations. I use a combination of titanium, surgical stainless steel,14K gold-filled findings and 18-K gold plated stainless steel findings. Our colored jump rings are also lead and nickel free. Check the descriptions in the individual listings for item specific materials information.   

My findings are suitable for most sensitive ears (mine included). But if you have particularly sensitive ears or concerns, usually these stem from allergies to nickel, I would recommend gold-filled or titanium hardware.  If they are not used for the item you desire, in most cases, I can customize them for you.

Gold-filled jewelry contains a thicker and more durable layer of gold than gold-plated jewelry. It's a great, and much more affordable alternative to solid gold and if cared for properly can last for many years without wearing away.

I'm working on having some stock of comfy clip-on options so reach out to me and I'd be happy to try and accommodate on a case by case basis. Down the line, I hope to offer clip-ons as a standard option for certain styles.

No! It's actually amazing. These creations will not stretch your lobes and you can wear them all day without discomfort. They are so light! My biggest pieces (and these are BIG) weigh 8 -12 grams and most pieces are less than 6 grams.

Made-to-order means that I will make earrings specifically for you, when I receive your order.  Certain collections have this feature, and it allows me to work more sustainably, AND most importantly, it really gives me the opportunity to connect with my customer.  Making earrings brings me so much joy and when I can put a name (and even a face) with that, it makes it even more special.
